Warrington Christmas Lights Switch-On at Market Gate, Warrington is on Saturday 14 November 2026, about 35 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, outdoors.
Warrington's town-centre lights go on at Market Gate, by the Skittles sculptures, at the end of a day of live performances and activities that starts at 11am. The main switch-on show begins at 5pm and the lights come on at 6pm. It falls on the same weekend as the Warrington Unwrapped Christmas markets on Bridge Street, Dolmans Lane and Buttermarket Street, so the two make an easy day out together. It is outdoors with nothing to book.
