Holiday clubs by area
Nearest areas first. Tap an area to see its clubs.
Most clubs take children from Reception (age 4 or 5) to about 11, run on weekdays only, and are booked by the day. Core hours are usually around 9am to 3pm, with paid early drop-off and late pick-up. Popular weeks, especially the summer holidays, fill early.
Clubs registered with Ofsted can usually be paid with Tax-Free Childcare: the government adds £2 for every £8 you pay in, up to £2,000 a year for each child (£4,000 for a disabled child). Ask the club for its childcare provider reference.
Children who get benefits-related free school meals can have free places, with a meal, through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. In Trafford you book them on the council's HAF booking site; clubs taking part are labelled Free places (HAF).
Questions parents ask
Which holiday clubs are running in October half-term 2026?
Most charge about £25 to £45 for a full day, less for a half day or a whole week booked at once. Specialist camps (riding, climbing, coding) cost more. Each club above shows its price where it publishes one.
Can I pay for holiday clubs with Tax-Free Childcare?
Yes, if the club is registered with Ofsted. The clubs labelled Tax-Free Childcare say they accept it; for others, ask the club.
Are there free holiday clubs?
Children who get benefits-related free school meals can have free places through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, run in Trafford by the council. It's for Reception to Year 11 children who get benefits-related free school meals, mostly at Easter, in the summer and at Christmas, with a few camps in other holidays. Families book on Trafford's HAF booking site; clubs labelled Free places (HAF) take part.
Are there holiday clubs for children with SEND?
Several clubs say they support children with special educational needs and disabilities; they're labelled SEND support. Talk to the club before booking about your child's needs. See also SEN-friendly days out.
