Weekday mornings in term time are the quietest, and many places run sessions just for under-5s then. Weekends, wet days and school holidays get busy: some centres switch to timed sessions and ask you to book, so check before you set off.

Most soft play centres ask everyone going on the equipment to wear socks, adults included, and trampoline parks usually sell their own grip socks. Prices are per child; most let adults in free, but not all.
