Tyldesley Makers Market and Christmas Lights Switch-On at Tyldesley Market Square is on Saturday 28 November 2026, about 30 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, outdoors.
Tyldesley switches on its lights with a makers market in the Market Square. There are stalls, street food, children's rides and live local music from 4.30pm, plus the Dreams 2 Reality Live Tyldesley Draw, and the lights go on at 5.30pm. It runs for just an hour and a half and is free.
