Altrincham's yearly outdoor carol singalong fills King's Court, the town-centre courtyard lined with bars and cafés, for an hour on a December weeknight. Singers from The Music Place lead the choir through well-known carols and Christmas songs, and anyone can join in. It is free with nothing to book, short enough for younger children after school, and outdoors, so bring warm layers.
