A traditional candlelit service of nine lessons and carols at St George's Church, with a brass band, vocal soloists and a trumpeter alongside the church's festival choir. It is a chance to sing the familiar carols in a church lit with candles and runs for about an hour in the evening, so it suits children who can sit through a service.
