Toy Service at Holy Rood Church, Swinton is on Sunday 29 November 2026, 10am, about 30 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, indoors.
Holy Rood in Swinton holds a toy service on Advent Sunday, 29 November at 10am, with the church choir. Families bring a new toy, still in its box, for a child up to 14, and the church takes every gift to Wood Street Mission, which passes them to struggling families across Manchester and Salford in time for Christmas. A simple way for children to hand over a present themselves.
