Wood Street Mission Christmas toy appeal is from Monday 2 November to Friday 11 December 2026, about 25 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, indoors.
Wood Street Mission's Christmas appeal collects brand-new toys, gifts and books for children aged 0 to 14 in Manchester and Salford. Leave them unwrapped: parents come in and choose presents for their own children. Drop off at the charity on Wood Street, off Deansgate, on weekdays from 8.30am to 4.30pm until Friday 11 December; the charity asks for gifts as early as possible. Its website has gift ideas and an online wish list.
