The Sea Star Search with The Elf on the Shelf at SEA LIFE Manchester is from Friday 20 November to Sunday 3 January 2027, about 25 minutes' drive from Timperley. £10 to £25, book ahead, good for most ages, indoors.
A Christmas activity trail woven through the aquarium: children pick up an activity sheet and lanyard at the door, then hunt for interactive points where Elf on the Shelf scout elves need help returning lost decorations to an undersea Christmas tree. Each challenge earns a piece of a sea star medallion to keep, plus a certificate at the end. It suits all ages and comes free with a normal timed entry ticket.
