The Polar Express at Altrincham Garrick Playhouse is on Tuesday 8 December 2026, 7pm, about 10 minutes' drive from Timperley. Tickets £7 to £8 (full price £8), book ahead, good for most ages, indoors.
The Garrick's own cinema shows the 2004 Polar Express on the main-house screen, a short walk from Altrincham town centre. It is a one-off evening showing in the theatre's auditorium, so it suits school-age children more than very young ones. The Garrick lists just this one showing of the film.
