Remembrance Sunday service at Wythenshawe Civic is on Sunday 8 November 2026, about 15 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, outdoors.
Churches Together Wythenshawe leads a short Remembrance Sunday service in the town centre square, finishing soon after the two minutes' silence at 11am. Everyone is welcome to join the service or simply stand for the silence. Its short length makes it a manageable first Remembrance for younger children, and the Civic's shops and cafés are close by afterwards.
