A horse-box Santa's grotto parks up on the main square at Wythenshawe Civic for a long weekend. Children step inside to meet Santa and his elves and take home a Christmas gift, and there's no ticket to buy: visitors are asked for a small suggested donation to a chosen charity. Pair it with the centre's Christmas Star Trail while you're there.
