- Buses 7, 203 and 42a stop at Houldsworth Square. Parking on some main roads and nearby streets. Reddish North station is about a mile away (trains every 30 minutes), linked by the 203 bus.
Free community entertainment in Houldsworth Square through the afternoon and evening. The Worker Bee Festive Market runs in the Houldsworth Arms car park 12pm–4pm with local makers, decorations and food, Belle Vue Brass Band and a local cheerleading group.

Reddish's free Christmas lights day takes over Houldsworth Square from midday into the evening, with community entertainment run by the volunteer Reddish Events Team with Stockport Council. New for 2026, the Worker Bee festive market sets up in the Houldsworth Arms car park from 12pm to 4pm with local makers, gifts and food, plus Belle Vue Brass Band. Arrive by bus if you can: the 7, 203 and 42a stop on the square and street parking is limited.
