Heald Green's Christmas market fills the car park off Finney Lane for a Sunday of stalls, local entertainment and the switching on of the village's Christmas lights. It is run by the Heald Green and Long Lane Ratepayers Association and is free to wander round, so it suits a short visit with a buggy as well as a longer browse. The organisers have not yet said what time the lights go on, so check their Facebook page nearer the day.
