Northwich's yearly Christmas Extravaganza fills the town centre on Saturday 21 November, with a Christmas artisan market running from 10am to 7pm. The town's own events site says more details are on the way. In past years the day has finished after dark with a schools' lantern parade, the countdown to the Christmas lights and fireworks near Barons Quay, so it's worth staying into the evening once times are confirmed. Free to wander; food and drink stalls and town-centre cafés for refuelling.
