Willow Goat Crafts run two hour-long sessions at Waterside where families help build the willow lanterns carried in Sale's Celebration of Colour Lantern Parade later the same afternoon. Children make a lantern alongside a grown-up, then join the walk from Waterside Plaza to Stanley Square. It suits ages three and up, and an adult has to stay with each child throughout.
