Borrow ear defenders and fidget toys from the sensory pick and mix at the Mill entrance. Quiet Space in the Garden Ticket Office. The weaving shed is very loud when looms run. Changing room with bench and hoist in the mill yard.

Good to know

Parking: Main visitor car park (SK9 4HP), with Blue Badge bays; Styal station is 0.6 miles away.
Buggies: Steep paths in places, but step-free routes link the gardens; buggy storage on the mill's top floor.
Food: Weaving Shed Restaurant, Upper Garden Café and ice cream parlour, with picnic benches by the playground.
Toilets: Family toilets with baby change in the Mill Yard and Upper Garden, plus a Place to Change with hoist.
