Quarry Bank's indoor play space on the top floor of the mill becomes Elf HQ for Christmas, with festive tasks such as stacking presents on a sleigh and writing an elf CV. Soft play, a swing, giant snakes and ladders, a puppet show and a dressing-up stage are all there too. It suits children up to 12, there is lift access, and no booking is needed.

- Steep paths in places, but step-free routes link the gardens; buggy storage on the mill's top floor.
