Wilmslow parkrun on New Year's Day at The Carrs, Wilmslow is on Friday 1 January 2027, about 25 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, outdoors.
An extra New Year's Day parkrun at The Carrs in Wilmslow: a free 5k along the River Bollin that you can run, jog or walk, with children welcome alongside a parent. It's a relaxed way to blow away the cobwebs on the first morning of the year, and the park's playground is by the start. Register with parkrun once and bring your barcode for a time. The start time will be on the event's news page in December.
