Performing Trees (free collection exhibition) - closes 4 April

A free exhibition of more than 50 works from the Whitworth's collection in which trees take the starring role, from 16th-century prints to modern drawings, paintings, textiles and wallpapers. Look out for Tree of Life designs from around the world and pictures of people turning into trees from old myths. It's a quiet gallery visit that works well for children who like nature or drawing.
