This year's display of political and trade union banners fills the museum's two main galleries, from the oldest surviving trade union banner, dating from 1821, to ones carried in 2025. Children can pick up a Banner Bingo card at the welcome desk and hunt the banners for pictures such as a star, a shoe or a set of scales, winning a small prize at the end. There are two versions of the card, and it suits ages 5 and up.
