Sunday family swims and float session at move Altrincham is every Sunday until 18 December, about 10 minutes' drive from Timperley. Under £10, book ahead, good for most ages, indoors.
Sunday is the busiest day for families at Altrincham's leisure centre pool, with hour-long family slots in the shallower teaching pool through the day and a float session in the main pool mid-morning, when floats and toys go in the water. It suits mixed ages and nervous swimmers. Under-eights need an adult over 16 in the water with them, one adult to two young children.
