Little Bookworms is the monthly children's book club at House of Books & Friends on King Street, for readers aged 8 to 12, meeting on the first Sunday of each month from 11am to noon. November's book is Skulkmoor by Hana Tooke, a mystery about two rival cousins in a great house split in two. Children talk about the story, then do book-themed activities, quizzes and games, with squash for everyone. A ticket is £2, or £8.99 with the book; a few free places are kept back for families who need them. An adult must stay.
