B For Butterfly Books, the independent bookshop beside Brooklands tram stop in Sale, holds a free spooky story session on the Friday of half-term to celebrate the recent release of Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories 2. It starts at 11am and there's no need to book: just come along. Through the whole half-term week the shop also has a Halloween craft tray out and treats for children who drop in, so it's an easy stop on a rainy day.
