A light trail of just over a mile through Heaton Park, themed this year as a Christmas time machine travelling back through festive decades, across 17 illuminated zones. There's a Christmas village with food and drink, plus fairground rides. Entry is timed from 4.15pm, and the route includes slopes and some softer ground, so allow for that with buggies. Car parking must be booked ahead; two quieter neuro-inclusive evenings run in December.
