The Hallé plays John Williams' film music while scenes from the films are shown on the big screen, taking in Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Harry Potter and E.T. A good choice for film-loving older children and teenagers trying a full orchestra for the first time, though the 7.30pm start means a late night.
