Family wildlife walk at Park Wood, Wythenshawe is on Saturday 7 November 2026, 10am–12pm, about 15 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, book ahead, good for most ages, outdoors.
A free two-hour guided walk through Park Wood, a patch of woodland in Benchill, led by the environmental charity Groundwork GM. Families learn which animals and plants live in the wood and how to look after them, and all ages are welcome. The walk sets off from opposite Wythenshawe fire station on Brownley Road, so wellies are a good idea after rain.
