A three-hour Sunday cookery class for a parent and child at the Cheshire Cookery School on Norman Road, Altrincham. This one takes its flavours from Asia: the sample menu is steamed bao buns with fillings, sushi rolls with vegetable or fish fillings and sticky chicken wings. A chef demonstrates each step, then you shape, roll, steam and plate the dishes side by side, before sitting down together to eat what you have made. Recipes are emailed afterwards. It runs from 10am to 1pm on Sunday 15 November and costs £130 for one adult and one child, with an extra child £30 by phone.
