Chatsworth Christmas Market is on at Chatsworth House, Bakewell from 7 November to 13 December. It's about 75 minutes' drive from Timperley. Prices are over £25 a ticket. You need to book ahead. It suits most ages, and it's outdoors, so dress for the weather.

- House car park £7.50–£10 a day, free with an online-booked house, garden or farmyard ticket; pre-booking needed at Christmas.
