Big bangs and late nights don’t suit every child. These are the displays near Timperley that do something about it: low-noise or reduced-noise fireworks, an early children’s display before the main show, or an evening that’s over by 7pm. Bonfire Night itself is Thursday 5 November, and most displays are on the weekends either side. Prices, dates and booking status in each row come from our checks and update themselves.

Making it easier

Ear defenders help, even at the quieter displays. Standing further back from the launch area softens the bangs, and at a display with a children’s show you can leave before the main one. Most of these need tickets bought in advance, and several have no parking, so check the event page before you set off.
