One of Manchester City Council's three free fireworks nights, with lantern-making workshops in the weeks before and a family lantern parade ahead of the displays. An early reduced-noise display is designed for young children and those with special educational needs, followed later by the main show. Outdoors, so dress warmly; more details are due nearer the date.
