A Christmas afternoon concert where Stockport Symphony Orchestra plays live alongside animated films on the big screen: Peter and the Wolf, The Bear and the Piano from David Litchfield's picture book, and Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals. It suits primary-age children who can sit through a concert with an interval. Some front seats are kept for families with children, so arrive early.
