Christ Church on Lostock Road in Davyhulme hosts a community-led playgroup for under-5s and their carers every Tuesday morning in term time, from 9.30am to 11.30am. There is a range of play activities, including messy play, and a healthy snack time, and the group aims to be a friendly place for carers as well as children. The church has its own car park, and the 25 and 256 buses stop outside. The church does not publish a price, so ask on your first visit.
