Timperley Methodist Church, in the middle of the village on Stockport Road, opens its doors to babies, toddlers and their grown-ups every Monday morning from 9.45 to 11.30. It is a straightforward parent-and-toddler group: toys out, time for little ones to play together and a chance for parents, grandparents and carers to chat. The church lists it on its weekly programme alongside its cafés and other groups. There's no booking; just turn up. The church doesn't publish a price, so bring a little change, and ring the office on 0161 928 0022 if you want to check it is running in a school holiday week.
