On the last Sunday before Christmas, Brooklands Health Club runs a festive crafts afternoon for children in its Presidents Room on Whitehall Road, from 3pm to 5.30pm on 20 December. Children make Christmas crafts to take home, which makes it a useful way to fill a pre-Christmas afternoon. Places cost £10 per child and are booked online in advance; the club doesn't give an age range, so check with them if your child is very young. You don't need to be a member to book.
