Jodrell Bank's Christmas season adds festive extras to a normal visit: a 15-minute Santa's-sleigh show in the Space Dome on weekends, a Goofus Theatre puppet show just before Christmas, and seasonal treats in the cafes. The usual exhibitions in four pavilions, telescope talks with live demonstrations and the arboretum walks are all included. Allow extra travel time because of local roadworks; dome shows cost extra.
