Wythenshawe Forum's leisure centre sets aside family swim sessions for parents and children to share the pool. In term time they run on Sunday mornings and afternoons across the 25-metre main pool and the shallower training pool, plus a Tuesday evening session in the small pool. Children under 8 must be in the water with an adult, and each adult can bring up to two non-swimmers. Swims are pay as you go through Everyone Active, with online booking, and Manchester residents aged 16 and under can swim free at set times with a junior MCRactive card. The school-holiday timetable is different, so check it before half-term and Christmas visits.
