Beneath the Great Wave: Hokusai and Hiroshige

Going with friends? Send it to them

An exhibition of Japanese woodblock prints by Hokusai and Hiroshige, built around The Great Wave, one of the best-known pictures in the world. The colourful prints show crashing waves, waterfalls, mountains and travellers on the road in Edo-period Japan, so there is plenty for children to look at and talk about. It's a calm indoor visit that suits older children best, and these are the last weeks before it closes.
