Urmston Remembrance parade and service at Urmston War Memorial, Davyhulme Circle is on Sunday 8 November 2026, about 20 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, outdoors.
This year Trafford's civic Remembrance service is held in Urmston. The parade of armed forces groups, Brigades, Guides, Scouts and Brownies walks from Eden Square along Crofts Bank Road, stopping at Golden Hill Memorial Garden, to the war memorial on Davyhulme Circle. Families not marching can wait at the circle to watch it arrive. A few chairs are available; it goes ahead in most weather.
