Stretford Remembrance parade and service at Stretford War Memorial is on Sunday 8 November 2026, about 20 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, outdoors.
Trafford Council's Remembrance Sunday service at the Stretford war memorial, with a parade that sets off from the Metro Sports Club and returns there afterwards. Children can watch the parade arrive and join the two-minute silence. Some chairs are put out for anyone who needs a seat, and it goes ahead in all but extreme weather, so bring an umbrella.
