Sale Remembrance parade and service at Sale War Memorial is on Sunday 8 November 2026, about 15 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, good for most ages, outdoors.
Sale's Remembrance Sunday parade sets off from St Paul's Church and walks to the war memorial at the Town Hall for the service and two-minute silence. It is a chance for children to see the parade, the wreaths and the community coming together to remember.
Aim to arrive by the time the parade leaves, as nearby roads close earlier. Chairs are available, and the service goes ahead in most weather.
