Run Wild! Come-and-try orienteering at Sale Water Park is on Saturday 7 November 2026, about 15 minutes' drive from Timperley. Under £10, book ahead, good for most ages, outdoors.
A come-and-try orienteering afternoon for newcomers, run by Manchester and District Orienteering Club round Sale Water Park. With a clear map you find the control markers at your own pace on one of two short courses, roughly 1 to 1.5 km and 2 to 2.5 km, or both for one entry.
Volunteers explain how it all works. There is a free car park, and the Metrolink stop is next to the park.
