Children decorate a cardboard party cannon with metallic papers, ribbons and sparkly bits, then fill it with bright pom-poms, ready to fire when the New Year arrives. A Hobbycraft colleague leads the 45 minutes and all the materials are provided. For ages three and up; a grown-up stays and watches for free. Each session takes five children at most.
