A free creative writing club for children aged 7 to 12 meets at Stretford Library once a month on a Thursday after school, from 4pm to 5.30pm. Children talk about stories, listen to them and write their own, with ideas and encouragement from the club's leader, so it suits keen writers and children who want a bit more confidence. The club is run by a local volunteer rather than the library; email [email protected] to ask about a place.
