Apple's Trafford Centre store runs free hour-long creative sessions for children through Today at Apple, on iPads it provides. Through half-term and into November there's emoji drawing, making a theme song in GarageBand, comics inspired by Planet Earth, an interactive kindness story, a friendship film in iMovie and coding a first app in Swift Playground. Most suit ages 6 to 12 (the coding one 10 and up). Each session is booked separately online, and a parent or guardian stays for the hour. Apple adds new dates about two weeks ahead.
