Weekend afternoons at Apple in the Arndale bring free hour-long sessions for children through Today at Apple, on iPads it provides: making a theme song in GarageBand, drawing their own emoji, comics, an interactive kindness story, a friendship film and coding a first app, plus Swift Playground for 12 and up. Most suit ages 6 to 12. Book each session separately online; a parent or guardian stays for the hour. Apple adds new dates about two weeks ahead.
