Fire Lighting Workshop at Into the Wild is from Saturday 7 November to Saturday 21 November 2026, about 10 minutes' drive from Timperley. £10 to £25, book ahead, best for older children, outdoors.
A hands-on bushcraft session in the woods at Into the Wild, where families learn to pick out good trees and natural tinder, make sparks with a ferro rod and build and light a small fire of their own. It ends with a marshmallow toasted on that fire and a cordial. For ages 7 and up with a grown-up taking part alongside. The site is reached on foot, so wear sturdy boots for muddy paths.
