St Michael's, the parish church in Flixton village on Church Road, holds its Christmas Fair on Saturday 21 November from 11am to 3pm. The church has listed it as an all-age, family event and a fundraiser, with more details still to come, so expect the usual mix of stalls, gifts and refreshments for a church fair. It is a good early start to Christmas shopping close to home, and St Michael's also runs a short family service after school on Mondays in term time.
