Chatterbooks at Altrincham Library is on Monday 14 December 2026, 4pm–4.45pm, about 10 minutes' drive from Timperley. Free, no need to book, best for older children, indoors.
Altrincham Library's Chatterbooks group meets again for its December session: a relaxed 45 minutes for 7 to 12 year olds to share books, try reading games and pick up ideas for what to read next. It is free, run by Trafford Libraries, and a good way to meet other readers.
Places are limited, so register with the library first.
