A free afternoon of street theatre across Stockport town centre, with more than 50 shows: a giant snow lion puppet, stilt walkers, circus, Brazilian drumming, a hands-on water-powered contraption and a tiny pop-up nightclub. It builds to a drumming parade and the Christmas lights switch-on at 4.45pm. Shows are spread from Merseyway to the Underbanks and Redrock, so expect to walk between them.
